Screen Protectors: How to install
Materials
- Your phone
- Screen protector
- Cleaning cloth
- Applicator card (a credit card is a good substitute)
Preparation
- Choose a clean, draft-free room for the operation. A bathroom after running a hot shower can work well.
- Wash your hands with soap and water
- Clean your phone’s screen with your cleaning cloth
Installation
- Place the screen protector perpendicular to the phone, with the sticky side facing away from you
- Expose about a centimetre of the sticky side
- Place it carefully on the end of your phone, ensuring you have it lined up perfectly
- Use one hand to pull the screen protector backing away from you
- Use the other hand to press down the screen protector as it’s revealed
- Once completely on, use applicator to smooth out bubbles
- Once majority of bubbles are gone, remove the other piece of backing
